SCHOOL SPEAKER TRAINING DAY
Come along to SAFE's school speakers' training day and help to
spread our message to the schools of Auckland.
"School talks are one of the most important ways that we can raise awareness of animal exploitation and encourage young people to bring about positive
change," says SAFE school talk programme organiser, Marianne McDonald.
"We are in the process of building up a network of volunteer speakers who are able to
visit their local schools to speak on animal rights issues. Our first training workshop is in Auckland on Saturday 20th February, and will run from 10am until 4pm. These
training days will provide information on giving effective presentations in secondary schools, and how to deal with awkward questions." Booking is essential, so
please contact Marianne at speakers@safe.org.nz to express your interest. |
