Ana Lenard is one smart (vegan) cookie! The enthusiastic SAFE volunteer earned herself the title of top student in the world for A-level geography, after getting 96 per cent in the 2009 Cambridge International Exams.
About 10,000 students sat Cambridge examinations in more than 50 state and independent New Zealand schools in November 2009. Ana was also nominated as New Zealand's top drama student with a 92 per cent mark. SAFE's volunteer coordinator Eliot Pryor says Ana is passionate about animal rights and environmental issues. "She has been volunteering for SAFE for over a year and is presently working in the SAFE Cruelty Free shop in Auckland while Sara, the shop manager, is on leave." Congratulations Ana!
