Having just completed filming Prime Mover (due out 2009), award-winning actor and SAFE supporter Emily Barclay was back for a short trip last week catching up with friends and family, and of course, SAFE! Emily told shop manager Caro Warburton that her kiwi pals had been tempting her for weeks with stories about the great variety of cruelty free products that were now at the SAFE shop, so visiting us was definitely on the agenda! Emily mentioned how lucky Aucklanders were to have a shop like this, and that there was certainly nothing quite as exciting or with such a wide range of specialty vegan products being offered in Sydney where she currently lives. She was especially impressed by the vegan cheesecake, meringue cookie mix and the new SAFE-designed t-shirts. Emily ended up purchasing a Secret Society of Vegans t-shirt and said she was looking forward to checking out our shop website and making some meringue cookies when she gets home.
To be cool like Emily visit our shop site www.choosecrueltyfree.org.nz for your own SSOV t-shirt and meringue cookie mix.
