Gisborne volunteers braved the bitter cold and wind recently to hold a SAFE information stall on intensive pig farming.
Stall organiser Kauri Forno reported that despite the weather, she had seven eager volunteers ready to staff the SAFE stall. It featured one of SAFE's model sow crates, which was a big drawcard. Kauri says they sold lots of SAFE's ever-popular LovePigs, Not Pork! shopping bags. Good one, SAFEers! Get Active! SAFE info stalls are a great way to educate the public on animal cruelty issues. If you would like to hold a stall in your area, SAFE can supply all the resources and support you need. Contact Sacha at sacha@safe.org.nz.
