HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GEOGIE PORGIE

SAFE supporter Bunty Condon from Huapai recently threw a 10th birthday party for her favourite pig companion, Georgie-Porgie, which was attended by over 50 pig lovers, musicians, SAFE volunteers and even a celebrant!

Whilst Georgie and his piggy pal Marmite enjoyed delicious treats and loads of attention, human guests also enjoyed tasty food and drinks and listened to live music. SAFE volunteers Lisa, Mike and James were on hand to represent SAFE, and Mike delivered a great impromptu talk!

Lisa said it was fantastic day.

"It was a great opportunity for people to see what special animals pigs are, and for SAFE to spread the message about the plight of New Zealand's factory farmed sows and pigs," says Lisa.
