In two weeks volunteers held stalls in three different areas of Northland to help educate the public about SAFE and animal issues. Four keen new volunteers, along with Karen the SAFE coordinator, held a fantastic stall at Waipapa markets with vegan baking for sale, while in Whangarei, local coordinator Cathy, and volunteers, educated the public about pig factory farming and the cruelty of wearing fur with a stall, while people dressed as animals handed out leaflets.  In Kaitaia, Norma-Jean organised the first of her weekly stalls for SAFE at the local markets. National volunteer coordinator Sacha Dowell says a huge well done to our Northland SAFE volunteers. "They deserve big loud cheers!" says Sacha.
