Operation Toby is a not-for-profit national online directory for organisations that rescue or re-home abandoned companion animals. They need help!
It features region-by-region listings of all SPCAs, council pounds, public or private animal shelters and foster groups. It also has specialist listings like breed-specific rescue groups, sites for kids and important information sites. For the past four years, Operation Toby has been working to increase adoptions of abandoned animals, and to decrease the number of animals euthanised. Operation Toby is asking for organisations, pounds, shelters and rescue groups that don't currently appear on their website to contact them at toby@operationtoby.co.nz.
