SAFE ran yet another kick-ass vegan food stall at the annual Wildfoods Festival. Their "Meaty Vegan Gonads" - soy sausages and vegan "chicken" chunks on skewers that were then dipped in beer-batter and deep-fried - were very popular with festivalgoers, vegetarians and omnivores alike. As well as the organisers, SAFE was awarded a cash prize for the third-best community stall! Thanks to the SAFE volunteers who gave up their weekend to run the stall.
