SAFE Christchurch held another successful food giveaway recently to celebrate World Vegetarian Day and show how tasty and environmentally friendly vegetarian food can be! SAFE volunteers handed out over 400 samples of yummy Fry's sausages along with information about how meat consumption contributes to climate change. "We find food giveaways to be a very positive way to promote our message," says campaign officer Sacha Dowell. Many thanks to the volunteers for braving the strong wind and doing a grand job at promoting vegetarianism, and to Fry's for donating the food samples.
