We have a Winner! Sweet As Christmas Contest

SAFE is thrilled to announce Helen Lawrence as the winner of SAFE’s Sweet As Christmas Dessert Contest. Her entry of a raw, vegan, black forest & dark chocolate mousse tart hit the sweet spot.

“My first vegan dessert! I didn’t have a recipe so wasn’t sure if it would all come together, but I’m happy with how it turned out and it tastes AMAZING!” says Helen. “Aquafaba for the win! Who knew something that didn’t contain eggs, cream and butter could taste so good.”

Judges Masterchef Aaron Brunet and food editor Niki Bezzant had their work cut out for them, sorting through nearly 100 entries of delectable and drool worthy Christmas treats – all made without harming animals.

Helen will be receiving a luxury foodie and cruelty-free hamper chock-full of delicious goodies from Aldershot Sauces, Angel Foods, Big Nuts NZ, Eco Store, Fix and Fogg, Hunter Gatherer, Like Licks, Little Bird, Little Island, LUSH, Opawa Wines, ROAR, Smoups, Tio Pablo, Trade Aid – and more.
