SAFE (Save Animals From Exploitation) is New Zealand’s leading animal advocacy organisation. We make significant improvements to the lives of animals by challenging cruel practices, changing attitudes and fostering compassion so that they are no longer exploited or abused by humans.

We are looking for someone who can work with our CEO and Senior Leadership Team to manage SAFE’s financial activities.

You will definitely have:

• a passion for our vision: an Aotearoa New Zealand that ensures rights of animals.

And we’d also like to see you have:

• a minimum of 2 years’ accountancy experience;
• a relevant tertiary qualification; and
• proficiency in accounting and payroll systems (Xero and Netpay preferred) and in Microsoft Office applications.

Plus, you will be:

• vegan; and
• have knowledge of and a genuine interest in animal rights.

This is a permanent position (20 hours a week) and there is the option with this role to work from home.
