Urgent calls for closure of the ‘unsafe and barren’ Christchurch animal park leaving inhabitants suffering

After years of welfare complaints seemingly falling on deaf ears, SAFE is calling on Christchurch City Council to take immediate measures to close the doors on Seafield Wildlife Park at Christchurch’s Spencer Park. The park, run by Christchurch City Council, is leaving rabbits, ducks, chickens and other birds in barren, unsafe conditions, without adequate access to clean water, food and healthcare.
