April was for animals

April has been a massive month for animals, both the good and the bad. It’s been a while since our last podcast, thanks in part to some of the announcements that have come out of the beehive this month. This includes a ban on the export of live animals by sea, and a review of the greyhound racing industry.

The True Cost of Dairy

Right now, throughout Aotearoa, thousands of newborn calves are being taken from their mothers, trucked off in the cold, and killed. Branded as disposable by-products of the dairy industry, they are fragile, voiceless, and deserve so much more.
