The best chocolate cake!
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180 and grease two round cake tins
- Mix all of the dry ingredients together
- Mix together all of the wet ingredients and add to the dry mixture, making sure it’s mixed thoroughly
- Pour evenly into the two cake tins and bake for 30 mins or until a knife comes out clean
- Allow the cake to cool completely before spreading a generous layer of raspberry jam in between the two layers
- Top with fresh berries or defrosted frozen berries
- Serve with vegan ice cream, whipped coconut cream or on its own!
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup warm water
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/3 cup oil
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 cup frozen or fresh berries
Raspberry jam
