Self-saucing Pudding

Method:

Preheat oven to 220 degrees Celsius.

Sift flour, sugar, cocoa and baking powder together.

Add the chocolate, soy milk and margarine and mix together. Pour into a 20 cm round baking dish.

Mix together the sauce and pour over the top of the cake mix.

Bake for 35-40 minutes until cooked.

Serve with soy or coconut ice cream.

Ingredients:

  • 2 C flour
  • 1 C sugar
  • 4 Tbsp cocoa
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 C dark chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 1 C soy milk
  • 60g margarine, melted

 

Sauce

  • 4 Tbsp cocoa
  • 4 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 C boiling water

Serve with coconut or soy ice cream.
