Almond milk

Almond milk

Method:

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed for two minutes.
  2. Strain through a nut milk bag or a fine tea towel and squeeze the remaining liquid out.

That’s it!

Pro tip: Shake it to wake it, as it tends to separate.

Ingredients:

One cup of raw almonds (soaked overnight in cold water or for a few hours in hot water)

Five cups of water

Optional:

A pinch of salt

A dash of vanilla extract, maple syrup or a couple of pitted dates

Try plant-based!
